LEADERSHIP
Luminary is led by operators who have built, managed, and scaled real medical aesthetics and wellness organizations within complex regulatory and competitive environments. The two principals bring together perspectives that are rarely aligned in advisory work: business discipline and clinical credibility. That dual vantage point shapes how Luminary approaches strategy, structure, and decision-making, and it underpins the firm's independence, rigor, and practical relevance.

Both principals continue to own and operate practices in North Texas. The decisions they advise on are decisions they make themselves.

Michael Madrinkian, MBA, PhD
Principal, Business & Finance
Michael Madrinkian, MBA, PhD is an Oxford-educated business leader with more than a decade of experience in business management and strategic consulting. He leads the financial and strategic side of Luminary's work: business models and pro formas, capital allocation, pricing and service mix, provider compensation structure, capacity and growth pacing, and the owner's own role in the business. He serves as the chief executive of the principals' medical aesthetics and wellness practices, where he is responsible for the same decisions on his own account.
Lindsey Burris, RN
Principal, Clinical Operations
Lindsey Burris is a registered nurse with more than 15 years of experience in aesthetics, clinical management, and medical research. Her work spans the parts of a practice that business advice most often gets wrong from the outside: patient flow, provider utilization, treatment room design, clinical protocols, and the standard of care that a service mix or pricing decision either protects or erodes. At Luminary, Lindsey reviews the clinical and operational consequences of every recommendation before it reaches the client. When a recommendation would raise revenue at the cost of clinical standards, it does not go out.
INDEPENDENCE
Luminary is paid only by the client and accepts no compensation from vendors, agencies, lenders, builders, or placement services. The principals decline engagements that conflict with an existing client or with their own practices.

EDUCATION AND INDUSTRY INVOLVEMENT
Luminary maintains an aligned relationship with the CARE Institute, an independent education and research institute focused on the clinical, operational, and business aspects of medical aesthetics. The principals contribute to its education program. The roles are distinct: CARE educates, Luminary advises.
